The Middle Atlas region of Morocco has a rich heritage of creating beautiful, vibrant rugs that stand the test of time. Women begin the process by hand spinning the wool into thread. They finish the process by cutting the rug from the loom and having a big feast to celebrate. These rugs are durable enough to pass down for generations. The shapes, colors, and patterns that are woven into the fabric depict an image deep from the heart of its creator.
