If you have a good relationship with a business person in Morocco, sitting down over a glass of hot tea while having a casual conversation is a must! Business and relationship go hand in hand. So, before you read our Terms of Service, grab a glass of hot tea and make yourself comfortable!

Terms of Service

Our Products

All of our products are either handmade/handcrafted or hand-assembled. For the purposes of this website, “handmade” and “handcrafted” are used interchangeably. Handmade & handcrafted each mean that the products are not factory produced. Handmade & handcrafted also each mean that no part of the process included the product being crafted without close guidance from the artisan’s or artisans’ actual hands. Hand-assembled means that part of the product might have been produced in a factory, but the final assembly was done by hand.

Measurements are approximate. Because our products are handmade, not all of them are perfectly even. Measurements are usually taken in the middle of the item as seen in the picture. Sometimes each side is measured and the average of the two sides is given.

Payment Options

All payments must be in U.S. Dollars. The Artisan’s Loom accepts most major credit card brands, PayPal, and Gift Cards from The Artisan’s Loom.

Pre-Orders

Some of the products listed in the store are still in Morocco. You may pre-order these items, meaning you pay for the item while it is still in Morocco. For these products, please allow a minimum of 8 weeks for the product to arrive. We will send you an email at the address provide at checkout when the item is on the way to the U.S. You will receive another notification once the item is shipped to the shipping address you provide at checkout. Products that ship from Morocco will be identified in the product description as “Pre-Order Only”.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Sorry, no returns or exchanges. Refunds are only issued if the order or part of the order is cancelled before the shipping process begins. (See Cancellations.) If you have any questions about a product, please contact us before you buy the product and state your questions and concerns. Wait to hear back from us and make sure you are satisfied with the answers to your questions and concerns before making your purchase. If your product is damaged upon arrival, please contact us by sending an email to TheArtisansLoom@gmail.com.

Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order, you may only do so before the shipping process for the order has begun. Once the shipping process has begun, we will notify you by email. Once the email has been sent, it will not be possible to cancel any part of your order. To cancel all or part of your order before the shipping process has begun, send an email to TheArtisansLoom@gmail.com and include your name, the order #, and each item ordered that you want to cancel, or say “Cancel everything.” If we receive the cancellation request before the shipping process begins, we will refund the amount for each item cancelled.

Shipping

US DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Most of the products you see in our store have already been shipped to the U.S. This allows for quicker response time when someone wants to order a product but doesn’t want to wait more than three weeks for delivery. We are a small business, but strive to respond as quickly as possible to your orders. Orders are generally shipped within 3 to 5 business days and then arrive another 3 to 5 business days after that. You will receive an email once the order ships and is on the way.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

As of now, all items purchased from The Artisan’s Loom are shipped to a final destination in the U.S. However, some of the products listed in the store are still in Morocco. You may pre-order these items, meaning you pay for the item while it is still in Morocco. For these products, please allow much more time for the product to arrive, a minimum of 8 weeks. We will send you an email at the address provide at checkout when the item is on the way to the U.S. You will receive another notification once the item is shipped to the shipping address you provide at checkout. Products that ship from Morocco will be identified in the product description as “Pre-Order Only”.

TRACKING YOUR PACKAGE

Once your order has shipped to the address you provide at checkout, you will receive a tracking number by email.
